So, the Balvenie 14yr Caribbean Cask. 43%

Yellowy gold in colour. Soft fruity nose with exotic spicy oak notes in the background and fresh green fruits in the foreground. On the palette you get a slow but sure warming of your mid palette with spicy wood notes gently flowing around your tongue. The medium to long finish leaves a lovely warm feeling which is sweet and fruity. This may have a touch more kick to it at 46%, but it’s a very easy to drink and accessible with a reasonable price for a quality dram.

A good after dinner or mid-evening dram before moving on to an older peated dram whilst watching the sun set.
